Some advantages of becoming a makeup artist includes expressing your creativity through simple products, the fun and positive work environment that you are surrounding yourself in, the rush of finding quick results in ones artwork, the satisfaction and joy when revealing your final product to your client, the proof of the hard work and dedication through different makeup products, and the fact that there are many jobs available when working with makeup. Along with all of the positive aspects of becoming a makeup artist, their are some challenges. Becoming a makeup artist is difficult as the competition rate is very high, it is very challenging to become noticed as each makeup artist must come up with different ways of presentations, the long hours and dedication towards the career, first impressions of being the best and lastly the trust that the client is putting in your hands to make them look their best wherever they are going to be.
